Let's Catch Up...

I'm sorry I haven't posted in so long. I have had a lot of changes happen in the last few months. There has been very little time for crafting. I am going to change that starting now, because I am not me unless I make stuff. :-)

Here are some pages from my sketch book I use for watercolor.

This one I did with my new Inktense pencils.

This one was my first attempt at a landscape. I did it on the Ingalls family homestead in South Dakota.

Just today I was finally able to make some cards. I like to have a bunch on hand of certain kinds.

I used some stamps from a variety of companies and just butterflied them up with punches. Nothing fancy, but it felt good to get back into it.

I hope to make time for this again soon. I also hope to be checking in often.

Did you make the front of the card bumpy textured, and, if so, how? Thanks!

Tiffany, Yes. I used an embossing folder. It is a plastic folder you put the card in and then put it through a die cutting machine. The pressure from the machine squeezes the paper inside the folder and puts the texture on the paper. I used a special mask with it too so that the circle area stayed flat for me to stamp on.
