I am taking the Holiday Card Workshop 2012. It is so inspiring. I am finally carving out a little time to make some cards today.
These first cards are mini cards just like Kristina's. I decided not to make some envelopes for now. I can't decide if I want to use these as folded gift tags that are on home made gifts, or as gift inclusion cards.
These were quick and easy to make I colored with Copics. (Please excuse my imprecise coloring.) I added glitter to make it look like snow. They give me a cozy feeling. All the stamps are by Stampendous. The card stock is by Bazzil and the patterned paper is from a 6 X 6 pad from the new Snap line by Simple Stories. That tiny red dot is the perfect size for these little 3X3 sized cards.
This next card is my variation on Jennifer's card. It was so fun to stamp all those snowflakes and layer up all that blue. I am definitely going to use this masking idea over and over. For a one layer card it is so fun and dramatic. Adding the inking along the masked edge makes all the difference.
I added some sparkle with a Stardust Pen just like Jennifer. I think it adds just the right touch.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look. I am so excited to get to work on the cards from Day #2. Please stop by and see what I'm up to in the next couple of weeks as I make all my cards for the Holidays. Maybe you will see the card I make for you. ;-)
