Another fun project

Here is just a glimpse of a new scrapbook page that I made. I have a line of acetate "bubbles" going across the middle where you see the clock face. They are hard to see in this light.

I just love the photos of the girls making bubbles.
Here is a close up of the butterfly and some acetate "bubbles". The butterfly is one of the ones I have for sale in my Etsy shop. I just drew some accents in white with a photo marking pen, then attached it with a black brad.
Enjoy!

Just a sample

Here are some photos of what is going on in my Etsy shop. I would love it if some of you took a peek and gave me some feedback in the comments below.

The photos got posted in the reverse order, so sorry if it seems backwards.

This first photo shows how the inside opens for you to write your message.

This photo shows how the top layer seems to "float" above the patterned paper.

This shows the front of the card and my cuticles. Nice, huh? The snowman looks like he is really far over to the left, but it's just the photo. He does have some patterned paper peeking out on the left.
I will have some more acetate items comming soon. I hope that people will like them and think its different than what is currently out there allready.
For you other card making freinds out there the snow man and the stamping are on the top. The black cardstock mat behind the snowman in on the inside of the card. This hides all traces of adhesive. The patterned paper is adhered to the back of the card body with clear liquid glue. My stamp that I used on the back to denote it is hand made, (not pictured) hides the glue a little.
The location of the shop is www.jessanotherhess.etsy.com Etsy is like a huge craft fair and art gallery online. It's wonderful to browse and see the fabulous stuff that everyone makes by hand.

New endeavor

Hey everyone out there. I know it's been awhile since I blogged. I didn't know that my children starting school would make me so busy. I thought it would make me a little less busy. That has not been the case. It seems like I have more chores and things going on than ever.

I have just started a new little business endeavor. I opened a shop on www.etsy.com. It is a website where anyone can sell anything hand made. I will be selling scrapbooks, embelishments, cards and stationary. I will be taking custom orders as well. If you are interested in peeking at the shop it is located at www.jessanotherhess.etsy.com. I don't have much posted on there for sale yet. That will hopefully change in the next week. Pass the word on if you know anyone who might be interested. I'd love to make a million dollars. ;-)

The girls are settling into the new routine and now we are going to throw a wrench into it. On Tuesday evenings we will be taking them to religious ed. We hope it doesn't make them too tired.

For all of the family members out there who might be interested, Marie and Dustin are doing well. Marie started a new job at a cool local hardware store. Dustin is still enjoying his new job as well. They still like each other after a month and a half of being married too.

We hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy out there.
All out love to you.
